Ms. Jade Concepcion Bata is a teacher by profession. She now serves as an Educational Technology Specialist and the Head for Training and Professional Development of Phoenix Aralinks. She is an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Microsoft Certified Educator, a Google Certified Educator, a licensed Instructor of TESOL Asia, and an Animal Welfare Advocate and Volunteer. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Santo Tomas and a Masters Degree in Teaching English at De La Salle University, Manila. She acted as the Assistant Department Chairperson of the Reading and Language Departments in Xavier School Greenhills, San Juan where she served as an English teacher for 9 years. Before becoming part of Phoenix Aralinks, she was an Instructor in the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Her passion for teaching and educational technology has brought her all over the Philippines as well as Singapore, Australia, and Germany where she collaborates with fellow educators about transformative learning experiences in the classroom using technology.
